We at G&B are dedicating our memory page to Rudolph (Rudy) Nudo.Rudy and his wife, Elizabeth were volunteers for G&B for a number of years. They helped transport animals as well as assisted with our fund raising events. Rudy inspired many people which has resulted in a number of donations in his memory. We are honored that so many people thought of us in their times of sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Elizabeth and the rest of the Nudo family. |
Barbara Ward was a compassionate and caring person. She donated to her local animal shelter in NJ annually. Barbara and her husband rescued and took care of stray cats at their home in NJ. They would never turn any animal away who needed help. She spent the last few years between Florida and NJ and was very passionate about Goliath and Bebe's World. Her shih tzus developed diabetes and Barbara gave her insulin daily to prolong her life. Her veterinarian told her due to her care, Kandi was able to live a much longer and happier life.Barbara asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Goliath and Bebe's World, and for that we at G&B are so very greatful. |

Laci came to us through G&BB at a low point in her life and a low point in ours.We had lost our Sheltie of nearly 16 years and never wanted to replace him. But Laci did. How could an animal who was so mistreated, have so much love. But Laci did. Laci was ill; mistreated; malnourished and with stomach and physical problems. Laci was filled with love and tenderness and sweetness that could only have been placed there by God. Laci did. Laci had many names, but her true name was LOVE. She came into our lives and filled our hearts, home and lives with love. Laci did. Over the last three wonderful years, though Laci needed medication, she gave us everything she had. In the last few weeks she tried to maintain her dignity; but always gave her love. Laci did. We just finished the book, "Heaven is for Real" and the writer states that dogs and animals are in heaven. As a Christian I do expect to be there and ---- meet many friends and relatives and ---- Laci. Laci will be there. Laci you will be missed. Mostly, we thank you for the love that you gave us - not for what we gave you. Good Bye Sweet Laci. Jim & Connie |
This little guy is Pumpkin, My husband and I started fostering him in March of 09, he was 12. His owner had died, so Pumpkin became my husband sidekick for 3 yrs until my husband passed away April 18th.When Pumpkin first came to us he was very shy and wouldn't come off the couch, just stayed at my husband side. With a lot of love and the help of our other pets Pumpkin blossomed into a out going playful dog. He thought he was a big bully after a while. He would run along the fence barking like the rest of the dogs. He would even huff like a bull when he wanted attention and if that didn't work he would ram you with his head . He really turned in to a clown. Pumpkin arthritis got the best of him. Tuesday the 21st of June he was laid to rest, but I know he's with my husband Earl and they will be waiting for me at rainbow bridge. He will be forever loved and forever missed... Lisa Lesik |
